Police: Woman Escapes Sexual Assault Attempt

Springs police arrested a man on sexual assault charges after the alleged victim sought help from neighbors.

The woman reportedly knocked on the door of a nearby home on 2200 Sable Chase Drive after fleeing the perpetrator, and told the homeowners she had been sexually assaulted.

According to police, the victim was at the suspect's home when he became aggressive and tried to force himself on her. She managed to get away after a brief struggle and ran to get help.

Suspect Michael Clennan was arrested for attempted sexual assault and other criminal charges.
