Robber Hits Bank In North Colorado Springs

Springs police are searching for a bank robber who held-up an Academy Bank location around 8am Friday. The bank is located on Briargate near Union.

Investigators say the robber had a gun and got away with cash.

Police have a limited description of the suspect. Witnesses say he is Hispanic., around 5' 8" tall with a thin build. He was wearing a light jacket and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
