Police: 2 Arrested In Stolen Car

Colorado Springs police arrested two men after they jumped out of a stolen car Tuesday night.

It happened just after 11 p.m. near the intersection of Airport Road and Murray Boulevard when the suspects jumped out of the stolen vehicle while it was still moving. An officer responding to another call saw the suspects run off as the car continued rolling into a curb.

He chased the men and with the help of police dogs found them hiding in a basement nearby. James Jones and Enasio Solarzano are now facing charges related to the stolen car as well as outstanding warrants.

The car was reported stolen last week.
