Cause Of Death Released For Man Found In Alley

A man was found bloody and unconscious in an alley behind a Springs restaurant Saturday night. He died a short time later.
Police initially believed that the circumstances behind the death were suspicious. But based on the autopsy, the man died of natural causes.
The 55-year-old was discovered behind Benny's Restaurant and Lounge on the 500 block of West Colorado around 6:54 p.m. He was still breathing when officers arrived at the scene, but was pronounced dead at 7:20 p.m., shortly after arriving at a local hospital.
The man's identity has not been released.
