Homicide Investigation In Crowley County

Investigators in Crowley County said they are now investigating a suspicious death as a homicide. The body was found in a home in Olney Springs, CO this morning.
Olney Springs is located east of Pueblo.
Investigators are not releasing much information about the victim, other than it is a young woman. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
The school superintendent in Crowley County said the sheriff advised a lock-out today as a safety precaution while the sheriff’s office investigated. A lock-out is when the school doors are locked, but classes continue as normal inside. The superintendant says the lock-out was lifted around 1 p.m. after the sheriff told him there was no longer a threat in the area.
