Police: Driver In Fatal Crash Receives Summons

The alleged driver in a fatal traffic accident last week has received a summons for careless driving resulting in death.
Police say Archie Swoard, 48, was driving a SUV just after 1 a.m. on December 12 when he collided with a motorcycle in the area of Fillmore and I-25. The motorcyclist, identified as 44-year-old John P. Lockett Sr. of Colorado Springs, was killed.
The Colorado Springs Police Department said at the time of the accident that Swoard was cooperating with the investigation.
Swoard will be in court January 29.
