Weather conditions Thursday night hindered an investigation of a body found lying on a popular running path near a Colorado Springs elementary school.
A person found the body of a deceased man while walking on the trail behind Stetson Elementary School, near Peterson and Barnes.
Members of the Violent Crimes Homicide Unit responded to the scene just after 8 p.m., but do not believe there was anything suspicious about the man's death. However, the cold and icy conditions Thursday night hampered investigation efforts. An autopsy is currently pending.
