SWAT Raids Home, Man Arrested

A man is in jail Tuesday morning after the SWAT team surrounded his home.
El Paso County Sheriff Deputies arrested 26 year old Kevin O’Rourke around 4am. The arrest happened on Huntington Beach Drive, that’s north of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
Deputies say they were trying to pick up O’Rourke on an arrest warrant around 8:30 Monday night, but he wasn’t cooperating. That’s when Deputies called in their SWAT team. They used tear gas and broke through the front door. Deputies found O’Rourke hiding inside the home and took him into custody.
O'Rourke was wanted on charges of sexual assault and kidnapping.
