Missing El Paso County Woman
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is looking for a woman who was last seen in the Colorado Springs area in early October. Kara Nichols was last seen on Oct. 9, 2012. She was believed to be going to the Denver area for work reasons. Rachel Buster has been friends with Nichols since high school. She tells 11 News she is worried that Nichols might be in trouble. "I was very scared for her because to wake up and wonder where your friend is, and what they're going through," said Buster. Buster has been passing around a flier in hopes someone has seen her friend. The Sheriff's Office says Nichols normally has regular contact with her family and friends. None of them have heard from her since Oct. 10. Her disappearance is considered suspicious. Nichols is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 120 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes. If you have any information about where she could be call Detective Cliff Porter at 719-520-7227.
