KKTV has been broadcasting in Southern Colorado for more than 50 years. As a CBS affiliate, KKTV has provided viewers with the best in local broadcasting and is the #1 channel in Southern Colorado. Now, in addition to channel 11, the station added another broadcast channel, an affiliation with the new My Network TV, called “MyKKTV.” It’s another channel, another network, another choice in programming, both network and local.

This new affiliation will serve our Southern Colorado market. It’s another avenue for our viewers to get the programming only KKTV can provide as a local broadcaster. With this new network, KKTV can serve our community even better, with quality programming, more local news and weather, and other special programs, as well as more entertainment choices.

The MyKKTV schedule includes primetime network programming, quality syndicated programming, and two daily live local news broadcasts.

As an extension of KKTV 11 News, “My11News” airs at 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9:00 p.m. Monday – Sunday. The newscasts will be original newscasts produced by the 11 News team, but will be formatted and presented in a distinctive way. The newscasts are an alternative in both content and time period. The idea is to present viewers with more choices and opportunities to get their local news.

In addition, MyKKTV features quality primetime programming from 7:00-9:00pm Monday through Saturday from MyNetworkTV. MyNetworkTV will feature new scripted primetime dramas "American Heiress" & "Saints & Sinners" Monday-Friday. Every Saturday, re-cap episodes highlighting the programs' previous week’s storylines will air. "American Heiress" & "Saints & Sinners" will feature a 65-episode story arc stripped over the span of 13 weeks. Then new storylines begin, cycling every 13 weeks, providing 52-weeks of original programming.

MyKKTV now airs the International Fight League contests on Monday nights. The IFL is the first team-based mixed martial arts league. Their motto is simply, "No wussies alllowed." For information on the IFL, IFL teams and past competitions please visit MyNetwork's IFL information page.

Other programming from syndication partners will fill the remaining time periods, including classics, dramas, popular sitcoms, and game shows. One highlight of the program schedule will be "The Oprah Winfrey Show", which will air weeknights at 9:30 p.m.

Using a digital tuner, viewers receive the signal over the air on channel 11.2. The KKTV CBS HD signal will remain on 11.1. This is called digital multi-casting, and it is an important step into the future for KKTV. With the new affiliation, KKTV will be the first broadcaster in the market to deliver a digital multi-cast signal with network, syndicated programming and local content. MyKKTV is currently channel 141 in the Springs and channel 246 in Pueblo.

New channel. New technology. More programming choices. More local news and weather broadcasts. MyKKTV is the next generation of local broadcasting, and we’re excited to bring it to our Southern Colorado viewers.
