Fort Carson Units Headed for Afghanistan, Iraq
Two units from Fort Carson are preparing to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Two units from Fort Carson are preparing to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Fort Carson officials said Friday the 43rd Sustainment Brigade's Headquarters Company will go to Afghanistan and the brigade's 60th Ordnance Company will go to Iraq. Each will be deployed for a year.
Post officials didn't immediately respond to a question about how many soldiers are involved.
A flag-casing ceremony marking the deployment preparations is planned for Monday.
