A Colorado Springs boy got quite a surprise Wednesday at school.
Six-year-old Kai Bradford had a chance to see his dad for the first time since he was deployed to Iraq 7 months ago in an emotional video conference.

His classmates asked Captain Rory Bradford and other soldiers all sorts of questions about life in Iraq.

"I think this is a wonderful experience for them to connect with other cultures and other parts of the world. And to have a connection with our troops are doing," said Linda Conway, Library Technology Educator.

Captain Bradford will be deployed until December. But, he is planning to come home next week for some rest and relaxation.
