An Army specialist from Colorado Springs who died in a vehicle blast in Iraq last Friday is to be buried tomorrow in Mississippi.
A funeral director says the body of Specialist Benjamin K. Brosh is expected to arrive at an Air National Guard facility in Gulfport, Mississippi this morning.
Brosh's funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. MST Saturday.
Brosh's mother lives in Colorado Springs, but his father lives in Biloxi.
The soldier is being remembered as an adventurous man who wanted to be on the front lines protecting his buddies, and a caring person who enjoyed passing out soccer balls to Iraqi children.
Brosh was assigned to D. Company, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
