Updated: 06/05/2010 - Friends and family at Fort Carson welcomed home 290 American heroes home after a 12 month deployment to Afghanistan. Soldiers of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division arrived to the cheers of more than 300 friends and family members at Fort Carson's, Special Events Center at 12:30 am Saturday.

Upon arrival police and fire crews found water gushing from outside of a West facing wall and leaking into the basement of Penrose Hospital.
Updated: 05/17/2010 - Colorado Springs Police responded to a call at 3:40 am about a semi-truck that had rolled off I25 Southbound at mile marker 140 between the Cimmaron and S. Tejon exits. When Colorado Springs Police and Fire Dept. crews arrived on scene, they found a semi truck car carrier that had rolled over into a drainage ditch along I 25.
Updated: 05/02/2010 - Aurora police are investigating the death of a man who was shot while riding in a car on Interstate 225. Police say the man driving the car called police at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday to report that his friend had been shot by someone who pulled up next to them on the highway. Twenty-two-year-old Michael Hulburt died after being shot several times in his upper body.

When officers arrived they found 41 year old Mike Lopour lying in the park near the restrooms suffering from an apparent gunshot wound near his right shoulder.
