Overnight a disturbance passes through parts of S Colorado... this will bring a push of moisture falling as rain in the Plains with a few late night/early morning showers possible in Pueblo. For the Palmer Divide, N & W El Paso Co. and Teller Co. it will fall as snow... bringing a few additional inches of accumulation in mainly between 1am and 6am, lingering into the mid morning. A heartbroken family has set up two memorial funds.
Three members of their family were shot to death before their house was started on fire in Rye, Colorado.
Reginald and Kim Tuttle were found dead in their home along with their 33 year old daughter, Dawn Roderick.
11 News talked with Mark Roderick, the husband of Dawn Roderick. He tells us the person who killed his wife and in-laws, ripped his family apart. Their three kids are now without a mother.
Two memorial funds have been set up to help the families. The “Tuttle, Kim and Reginald Memorial Fund” will benefit the Toby Barnes Family (son of the Tuttle’s) and the additional grandchildren of Kim and Reggie. The “Roderick, Dawn Memorial Fund” will benefit Mark Roderick the surviving spouse and her three children for additional funeral expenses and to attempt to replace all the children’s personal items, clothing and school supplies that were destroyed by the fire.
