Police investigate two different burglaries at Colorado Springs businesses between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Just as the early morning bar staff came to work this morning at the El Dorado Lounge located at 11 N. Circle Drive, they found the front door open and the lock busted.

The discovery was made at 6:50 AM and Colorado Springs Police were called to the scene.

When officers arrived they discovered that another shop had also been burglarized. In addition to the El Dorado Lounge the Mountain View Holistic Wellness Center had also been broken into.

Police tell 11 News the center is also a medical marijuana dispensary. The main window was broken out and the crooks reached in past security bars and unlocked the door and entered the location. At this time, it appears the two break-ins are related.

Police are still investigating the scenes and have not released what the burglars were able to get away with.

@ English - what would you suggest smarty pants? As for the story at hand, it is a shame that these things happen. It happened so close to where that lady was robbed at gunpoint. I wonder if it was the same person or people involved.

It would be nice if news reporters took at least a few writing classes and didn't use words like "lock busted".
