To MIKE and PETE, the two of you have got to be the biggest knockle heads in the city. How can either of you make such idiotic statements without having one shred of evidence is beyond me. Mike, you must be from the ghetto also. You seems to know how the people in the ghetto act too well for me. I bet you were in on the robbery, were you driving the get-away car?

Imagine that, another personal assault on the south-east side of town. Wow. Lucky no one was shot dead. Crime happens everywhere in COS, PD and EPSO do their level best. Just stating that there are certain areas of town less safe after dark. Got locks? Got dogs? Got exterior lights? Know your neighbors? Lock your locks and know your neighborhood, folks. COS is still a safe town if you are smart and alert.

To Pete and Bill: Get real. I can pass a background check and have to be able to to get onto PASB and SAFB regularly. As far as J and Howie are concerned, they are not incorrect in their gripe. Drive around enough like I do and you will see police regularly speeding, sitting in strip club parking lots or anywhere that there are young pretty women. Why? To try to impress the young girls? That, or they are escorting drunken cops, drunken Springs judge or two, and a drunken former mayor home as well. People now are terrified of the Police because of their abuse of the power that we grant them. You guys are out of touch if you think that the Police are all angels. I'll bet that every single cop would have an ethical lapse if they pulled over one of their own or a friend for a DUI tonight. Be objective for a change and wathch them all carefully. Though they provide us with a great service, nearly every cop/sheriff out there today would protect one of their own rather than arrest them.

I actually agree with 'J'! The cops in this town should get off traffic duty (see 'tax' collecting) and protect the people!

Ladies, keep your hand in your purses and your finger near the trigger and don't be afraid to pull it.

Pete, I agree with you. I suspect that those who are consistently anti-cop may have a questionable background. Probably breaking the law and maybe getting busted, and maybe even convicted. "J", would you pass a background check?? Don't forget, these "lazy police" are ready to protect you, and take a bullet for you if needed; even tho you may hate and disrespect them. And, why don't you attack the criminals who cause the problems in the 1st place rather than attacking the police??? How come you said nothing about the gun-toting robbbers??? Hmmmm.

So "J"....are they supposed to be 'everywhere' so no crime can occur? People like you have no clue what you're talking about. And most who talk that way have an axe to grind because they've been arrested.
