Early Saturday morning at around 3:15 am Colorado Springs Fire Department crews and Colorado Springs Police responded to a report of a possible structure fire at Perkins Motors in Motor City.

When crews arrived on scene, they discovered two small electric vehicles and one Dodge pick up truck on fire on the East side of the building near the garage. Fire was spreading towards the building but fire crews responded quickly extinguishing the flames before they could do any significant damage to the building.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by Colorado Springs Fire Department Investigators. Colorado Springs Police took statements from a passerby who reported the fire.

Scandalous crooks? "Rawn" must work for a competing car dealer. I've bought 7 different vehicles from Perkins over the years and have never been treated with anything but respect. That's more than I can say for the other places I've bought cars. I hope everyone's okay.

I feel bad for the truck owner. I wouldn't be suprised if an unhappy customer did this. The folks at Perkins Dodge are a bunch of scandalous crooks. Mr. Perkins needs to stop by and clean house one of these days.
