At 11:18 pm Saturday night, Colorado Springs Police officers responded to a report of a possible stabbing at 8171 Brigantine Drive. Once they got there, officers found a male victim stating that he had been stabbed.
The victim told cops that he was standing outside his residence when he was approached by an unknown man who demanded his wallet. The victim stated the suspect stabbed him in the stomach once and fled in the area on foot.
Paramedics on scene determined that the victim’s wound was minor and did not require transportation to a hospital. The weapon used in the assault was described as a small pocket knife. The suspect was described as a white or hispanic male, early 20’s, black hair and was wearing a brown/red colored shirt and blue jeans.
