right by where I stay, I frequent that area/shopping center all the time going to King Soopers, The Dollar Tree and The Arc thrift store. Usually not many problems, although I think some of those businesses have been robbed b4. Really sad to see folks in my community having to go out and steal in order to survive...everyone that's hollerin about they need to be thrown in jail and all that, try living in this area for a lil' while and see how desperate yopu start gettin'...no jobs, bad schools and little to do outside that's constructive. The youth around here are so lost it's not even funny. The recession has hit no area of the Springs harder and that's the honest truth! Expect more brazen robbery attempts like this to come...

To David - I completely agree with you but unfortunately the law doesn't. You can't even shoot a burglar unless your life is at stake i.e. he has a weapon or is threatening your body in some way. Have you heard the term 'criminal justice'? How ironic, criminal activity receives justice..for what? I say if someone is robbing you for a pack of gum shoot them dead - 1 less stealer on this planet. But the law unfortunately says no.
