A former Denton County constable who pleaded guilty in Colorado to soliciting sex with children over the Internet has been brought to Texas.

Larry Dale Floyd was denied bail and is being held in the Denton County Jail on three counts of child pornography.

The charges in Texas stem from a search of Floyd's home after his arrest in Colorado.

Authorities say they found sexually graphic images of children in Floyd's home.

Investigators say Floyd drove to Colorado in July 2005 to meet with a woman he thought was willing to offer him her 8-year-old daughter.

According to an affidavit, Floyd also was interested in a 3-year-old girl and 16-month-old boy.

But the woman Floyd had been corresponding with online and calling for almost two months was actually an undercover Canon City, Colorado, police officer.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of enticement of a child in November and was sentenced to six years to life in prison.
