Posted: 10/08/2006 - A Longmont man charged with child abuse in the jet ski death of his two-year-old son has been arrested in another boating incident. Kathy Messick of the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said Gil Smith was arrested yesterday after alleging running into a boat, causing minor damage at Carter Lake.
