State troopers are cleaning up after a semi-truck rollover south of Colorado City Thursday morning.
The accident happened at mile marker 69 on southbound I-25. A spokesman with State Patrol tells us the crash caused some fuel to leak. and strong winds blew some into the northbound lanes. Due to that, both lanes were closed for clean-up.
As of 7:45 a.m., State Patrol says the road has been reopened, but reminds drivers in lightweight and empty high-profile vehicles that they need to use caution, as the wind remains strong from south of Pueblo to Trinidad.
The driver sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries. It is not known at this time if the wind contributed to the accident.
