Governor John Hickenlooper ordered flags across Colorado to be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday in honor of the youngest victim of the Aurora theater shooting.

Six year-old Veronica Moser-Sullivan was killed July 20 in the Aurora movie theater. A private funeral for her will be held Tuesday in Denver.

Flags were lowered in the days after the shooting in memory of the 12 people killed in the theater and raised again after the last scheduled funeral. The governor announced at that time that he would lower flags again when the services for Moser-Sullivan were set.

Her mother was also shot inside the theater and was paralyzed. Funeral plans were delayed while she recovered.
