A Colorado Springs woman and a young child are dead after their car went off the road and rolled.
Colorado State Patrol says the 23-year-old woman was driving west on Highway 50 about eight miles east of Hasty in Bent County Wednesday morning.
Investigators say the car went off the road and through a barbed wire fence before it rolled.
The driver and a little girl were thrown from the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
State Patrol says the woman was not wearing a seat belt and the girl was not properly restrained.
A little boy was in a car seat and remained in the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital where doctors said he was uninjured.
The name of the driver and children have not been released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
