The Boys and Girls Club in Pueblo is warning residents that a woman is going door-to-door raising money in the name of the organization. The only thing is, she's an impostor.

The woman has reportedly been trying to collect money on the south side of town. According to a resident, the woman says she is raising money for heart disease research through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Pueblo County.

The organization says that's not how they raise money, and they don't usually show up at homes unannounced.

Anyone with information or who witnesses this kind of suspicious activity is asked to call the non emergency number for Pueblo police. That number is (719) 553-2538
