Police say a woman was maced and robbed inside her own home.

The mace then contaminated the air in apartments on the second and third floors. Firefighters responded to ventilate the building.

The incident happened on Carmel Drive, near Delta and Hancock in Colorado Springs, just after 8:30 Thursday night. Police say the suspects were in the victim's apartment when they sprayed mace at her and stole some of her belongings. It's unknown if the victim knew the suspects, or if there were any other people inside the apartment at the time.

The suspects got away before police arrived on scene, and remain at large Friday. No suspect descriptions have been made available at this time.
