Woman Cited After Vehicle Crashes into House


Colorado Springs Police have cited a woman for Careless Driving after a vehicle crashed into a house.

Police tell 11 News that Melissa Huntley lost control of her vehicle and hit the house on Whip Trail, near North Carefree Circle in Colorado Springs. Officers say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Police received reports of a vehicle hitting a house around 11:42 p.m., April 20. When officers arrived on scene, they determined that driver lost control while traveling east on North Carefree and hit the rear of the house on Whip Trail.

Police say there are no injuries to any person living in the house. Two adult women passengers were transported to the hospital for minor injuries, according to police.
