A woman in Cañon City faces a number of charges after police say she hosted a party with two dozen minors and a toddler in attendance.
Corvet Griffin, 23, is charged with one count of reckless endangerment, five counts of child abuse and 24 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. As of Wednesday night she remains in jail.
Police say the underage drinking party April 12 was at Griffin's home on N. 9th in Cañon City.
A 21-month-old was reportedly found sleeping in a room littered with beer bottles and marijuana pipes while her mother, according to the police report, she was drinking and smoking pot. Police say the teen admitted her behavior. The baby was released to the girl's grandmother.
Police also cited 24 juveniles and 12 adults who are between 18 and 21 for being at the party.
