A 61-year-old woman accused of stabbing her husband with a pair of scissors will face a judge for the first time Monday.
Jerolyn Hanenberg faces attempted first-degree murder charges after police say she stabbed her husband in the back and stomach Sunday evening. He's currently in life-threatening condition at a local hospital.
Hanenberg reportedly made the 911 call, and allegedly confessed to a dispatcher that she had stabbed her husband in their home on San Rafael Street in central Colorado Springs. She was taken into custody after police responded to the scene.
We'll let you know what happens in court.
