A woman who is accused in the murder of a man who went missing from Colorado Springs has been charged.

A spokesperson from the DA's office says they formally charged Bionca Rogers with murder one and tampering with evidence Thursday.

The body of Grant Frazier, 61, was found in his car in Iowa last month. Rogers turned herself in to authorities in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the next day.

Autopsy results showed that Frazier died of blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds. His death was ruled a homicide.

Investigators say Rogers was the last one seen with Frazier before he was found dead.

The DA's office says they are still working on the details to have Rogers extradited back to Colorado.
