Nasty Weather Causing DIA Flight Cancellations & Delays

ADDITIONAL Snowfall Potential Through Early This Morning:

2-5": Palmer Lake, Monument, Black Forest, Peyton, Calhan, Limon, Castle Rock, Denver...Some areas in Douglas and Elbert County could see locally higher amounts.

1-3": Woodland Park, Air Force Academy, Falcon, far northeast Colorado Springs.

Tr.-1": Stetson Hills, Cimarron Hills, Rockrimmon, and this will be true for the northern portions of those neighborhoods.

Strong northerly winds will continue to produce poor visibility and a lot of blowing and drifting in rural areas. Dangerous travel conditions will prevail through the morning for many communities north and east of Colorado Springs all the way to Denver.

The storm not be completely done with the Palmer Divide and Denver Metro Area until midday today.

Quiet but cool weather can be expected the rest of this weekend.
