By  |

Recent snow is having an impact on a Colorado wildfire, burning since last year.

Fire crews say a foot of snow fell in the area where the Fern Lake Fire is burning in Rocky Mountain National Park. The fire started October 9, 2012, and is 88 percent contained. The fire has burned six square miles and is smoldering in dense forests.
