Shoppers were told to leave their shopping carts and evacuate a southern Colorado Walmart Sunday evening.

An employee reportedly received a call saying there was a bomb in the store.

Customers and employees sat outside for hours as a bomb squad searched the building located on 8th Street near Cimarron and I-25 in Colorado Springs.

"I asked an associate where something was and she answered me 'but we're kind Of evacuating right now there's kind of an emergency just go ahead and leave your car and go' and I only had one more thing to find which kind of sucked," a customer at the store told 11 News.

Investigators say nothing suspicious was found in the building.
