Rain and snow will wind down for Southern Colorado late this afternoon and early evening. The main focus for heavier rain and snow will shift farther north leaving Southern Colorado much drier tonight than this morning. It appears Mother Nature is favoring Loveland Ski Area.
The ski resort opened for the season Thursday, and just hours later received several inches--and counting--of new powder when a winter front moved into Colorado.
