Now Uncle Sam's trying to help those who lost their homes to foreclosure under shady methods used by 27 different lenders.
The government's extending the deadline for a free review to July 31st.
That means you have five more months to have experts look over your paperwork, checking to see how your foreclosure was handled.
If a consultant finds you suffered "financial injury"you could get a lump sum payment of $2,000.
