A close call for occupants of a home in Colorado Springs after a car accident pushed one of the vehicles involved onto their yard--narrowly missing their house.

Police say the two vehicles involved in the initial accident collided on the 1100 block of Palmer Park Boulevard. The two women involved were both taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

The man who was home at the time said he heard a loud bang and ran outside to see an SUV just inches away from his kitchen. He was the only person in the house at the time.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m.
