Police investigating body found at North Union home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) A deadly shooting over the weekend remains under investigation.

Police, who were investigating reports of shots fired on the 6000 block of North Union early Saturday morning, found one man with a gunshot wound. He was already dead when police arrived.

Neighbors said it sounded like a war zone.

"Woke up to loud gunfire and people outside...a loud explosion, my mirror broke," Jonathan Gunion said. "[My] bathroom mirrors gone, got holes through two walls and one that's damaged."

He said he's just glad his family is OK.

Gunion said he saw officers take three people into custody, but police have not confirmed any arrests were made. However, they say there is no danger to the public at this time.
