Search crews have recovered two bodies from the Arkansas River in as many days.

A fisherman's body was discovered Tuesday in Fremont County. The sheriff's office says he had gone into the river yesterday to rescue his dog when he disappeared. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Shane Bollig of Cañon City

Another man's body was pulled out of river Monday on state wildlife area property near South Swallows Road in Pueblo County.

The body was reported by two fisherman Sunday evening, but it took crews until noon Monday to locate the victim.

Investigators tell 11 News he had been dead for several days. Because of the condition of the body, investigators say identifying the man is difficult.

No foul play is suspected in either case.
