The Trinidad City Council voted Tuesday night to extend its moratorium on recreational marijuana sales until June 30 of next year.
But it also voted to allow sales of medical marijuana in the city for the first time. The city's staff has been instructed to come up with a plan for medical marijuana sales by next spring.
