Another round of showers and storms will move in later tonight, and will likely last through the first half of Tuesday morning. We may dry out a bit during the middle of the day, but more showers and storms will develop in the afternoon. Some could be strong (hail, heavy rain, lightning) but widespread severe weather does not appear likely. We will then dry out later Tuesday evening. Police say a little girl who was hit by a car Thursday night in Pueblo isn't hurt as badly as they first thought.
It happened around 7:30 Thursday night in the 1200 block of Bohmen Avenue.
Police say Moises Garduno, 55, was driving when a 6-year-old boy crossed the street, followed by his 3-year-old sister. Police say Garduno slowed down for the 6-year-old to cross, but did not see the 3-year-old, causing him to hit her.
The 3-year-old was flown to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. Police say she is "responding well" to treatment.
Police are still investigating whether the driver should face charges.
