Multiple agencies have been looking for a pair of crooks in an assault and robbery near a Colorado Springs Walmart, but as of Tuesday morning no arrests have been made.

The incident happened just after 4 p.m. Monday on the 3200 block of E. Platte, near Academy.

The victim told police he was assaulted by two teens, who then stole his wallet. El Paso County sheriff's deputies and a state trooper who were in the area when the crime was committed helped police look for the suspects, but were unable to find them.

The suspects are both described as Hispanic males between 16 and 18 years old. One reportedly had a thin build, while the other was heavier.

If you have any information that can help police, call CSPD at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
