After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. The main impact will be the cold along with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
A 17-year-old remains in the ICU after having been found lying unconscious in the middle of a street in a Fountain neighborhood.
Police say that officers were called to a home on Rye Ridge Road Tuesday on reports of a disturbance, and found the teen when they got there. Police began talking to people at the scene and figured out that a party had been going on at the house. Police say adults at the party had provided alcohol to their underage guests.
The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital, and four people at the party were arrested on felony charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They have been identified as Dawn Myers, Cameron Allgier, Trey Dawson and Amanda Herzog.
The police department says adults need to always be aware of how old those they are serving alcohol to are, because if minors do drink the adults present could face charges.
