The search is on right now for the teens who assaulted a woman and robbed her.
It happened in a neighborhood near Bonfoy and North Union Boulevard in Colorado Springs on Saturday night.
11 News talked to the victim. She is pretty shaken up. She didn't want to go on camera because she's concerned the suspects could come back. She says the suspects shoved her up against her car and stole her purse.
The woman told us she was grabbing a bag from her car, that was parked in front of her house. She says all of a sudden two crooks came up behind her and pushed her against the car. Her neighbor, Shelley Smith is concerned.
“It's pretty shocking. I would consider this neighborhood pretty safe so it's kind of shocking,” Smith said.
Police say the teens grabbed the woman's purse and grocery bag and took off. This crime has Smith thinking twice.
"I don't usually worry about it but I guess I should think more about it sometimes, because clearly it's a threat," Smith said.
Police say the suspects are believed to be 15 or 16 years old. One has blonde buzz style hair cut.
If you know anything about this crime call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
