Police say they found several articles of clothing, but no sign of the suspect after a robbery at Subway Thursday afternoon.

The suspect reportedly walked into the Subway on 1825 N. Circle in broad daylight and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. He ran away before officers arrived.

Officers and a police dog searched the area and found clothing believed to have been shed by the suspect, as it matched the description of what he had been wearing during the robbery.

The officer is described as a white or Hispanic male, possibly in his 30s, 5-foot-6 and thin. His hair was described as black and slicked back, and he was wearing glasses.

If you have any information on this crime, you are asked to call Colorado Springs police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
