Colorado Springs police have caught a man who was in a stolen car, and tried to get away.

The crime reportedly started near Hancock Expressway and South Academy.

Police saw the stolen car and tried to stop it at a shopping center. They say the driver took off and barely missed several pedestrians in the parking lot.

Police later saw the suspect in a neighborhood. When he saw the officers he hopped a couple of fences, and even went into a couple's house.

Police eventually caught him. The suspect has been identified as Dana Shaffer, 21. He is facing several charges.
