Resolution FAQ - (Stacia Naquin)
Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A convenience store clerk was emptying trash outside early Saturday morning when he was confronted by a masked suspect.
According to police, the suspect ordered the clerk to go back inside and give him money. The clerk refused, and instead ran across the street to call police.
The suspect broke through the glass door and tried breaking into the cash register. Surveillance video indicates he eventually gave up after several attempts and left the store empty-handed.
The suspect has been described as 5-foot-9 and thin, face concealed by a mask. He was wearing a black beanie cap, black jacket and black pants. The clerk thought the suspect was carrying something shiny, but it's unknown what that was.
The incident took place just after 3 a.m. at the Diamond Shamrock on 5670 Palmer Park Boulevard in Colorado Springs. If you have ant information on this crime, you are asked to call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
