Engineers are looking for ways to make the Drake Power Plant more environmentally friendly.
It's all part of a new study approved this afternoon by city council members who also double as the Springs Utilities Board.
The study will be done by an outside engineering company and will focus on evaluating alternate energy.
There will be 3 public meetings over the next year.
The study should be complete by the end of the year.
