Students at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs and several local dance studios, including Danceworks of Colorado Springs, raised more than $10,000 for a 5-year-old boy with a rare form of bone cancer.

District 11 says the students raised $13,853 to send Conner's family on a Disney Cruise. The school says students also want to raise money so the family can take a nurse with them.

According to a post on District 11's Facebook page, Conner has Ewings Sarcoma. He's from an AFA military family.

The fundraising effort is part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
