Traffic is moving again on Highway 50 west of Pueblo after it was closed in both directions for more than an hour due to extremely high winds causing poor visibility and multiple accidents on the road.

State Patrol did not have any information on injuries at this time. We are working to get more information.

CDOT reports that Highway 50 remains closed in both directions eight miles west of Pueblo.

Northbound I-25 was also closed near the Stem Beach exit south of Pueblo due to strong wind and poor visibility.

We are staying on top of all weather-related road closures. Keep checking here for updates.
